Why would a Boeing engineer have a used old Airbus part lying around? It's much more likely that this came from one of the many MROs around the country, for example ATS, who actually works on Airbus aircraft all the time, and is located about 2 miles away from the Boeing plant at Paine Field. https://www.atsmro.com/ https://www.atsmro.com/

- lupusreal 2y agoIt's not a quarter of a million dollar part, it's used or rejected by QA and essentially worthless as anything but a collectors item. And its not unrelated to his career, because his career was being an aerospace engineer and it's an airplane part. Believe it or not, peoples interests in a field very frequently extend beyond the limited confines of their employer. The number of Boeing engineers in that area greatly exceeds the number of people in that region with jobs involving airbus, so it was almost certainly owned by a Boeing engineer. Anyway, you're an asshole.
