- avs733 2y agosetting aside any particular ideological perspective, I think what is interesting here is the (inevitable?) expansion of soft power warfare into a new domain. I would be shocked if there are not other networks like this out there by other countries, whether on the public internet or more directly backchanneled.
- ashoeafoot 2y agoman its so easy nowadays to duck out of any actual democratic institutions like debate, negotiations and compromises. You can run a "democratic "nations manufacturing sector and middle class aground and do nothing for a generation , and its all "foreign powers" and totalitarians. The house was hollow long before, the walls load bearing left and right, a constitution thin veneer smeared on rot.
