- jarsin 2y agoNow dox all the NGO's and report on the nepotism between their staff and government insiders.
- duxup 2y agoIsn't that what an actual audit would do?
- raincom 2y agoThat’s what Washington cesspool really is. In other words, Washington consensus is driven by this sort of collusion or corruption.
- cratermoon 2y agoDidn't DOGE promise transparency? "all of our actions are maximally transparent." https://www.thecipherbrief.com/column_article/missing-in-musks-doge-operation-transparency https://www.thecipherbrief.com/column_article/missing-in-mus... “It’s not going to be some sort of backroom secret thing,” Musk said last year. “It will be as transparent as possible,” maybe even streamed live online. https://apnews.com/article/elon-musk-donald-trump-doge-secrecy-68a66370cbc67c457e0a1c6edb08c5ef https://apnews.com/article/elon-musk-donald-trump-doge-secre...
- rvnx 2y agoTransparent but we cannot say who is doing what where.
- cratermoon 2y agoyeah, transparent like lead.
- archagon 2y agoRelated: "Who Is Running the U.S. DOGE Service?" https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/who-is-running-the-u.s.-doge-service https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/who-is-running-the-u.s.... > At a recent hearing, no one—not even the Trump administration’s own lawyers—seemed to know.
- jauntywundrkind 2y agoIts particularly egregious that trying to figure out what is happening & who is doing keeps being met by shrills cries of "dox!". (For example, Washington Examiner's Byron York today, or xitter's Musk previously). Often by the same people who have trumpeted free speech, or more recently transparency. (Which I tend to think are at best flags of convenience for these people, think they actively bring great harm to these causes).
- BurningFrog 2y agoTransparency about what DOGE does and how is important. Name and photo of the workers involved in the work is not. We all know these are some of the currently most hated people in America, and the risk of them being Luigified is very real.
- archagon 2y agoWe have a right to know the names and faces of the people cheerfully dismantling our government. By many measures, they are some of the most influential people in the country right now.
- TomK32 2y agoLuigified? I'm pretty sure those young Doge "tech experts" receive a lot less marriage proposals than Luigi.
