None of this is surprising if you start with the premise that Trump's goal is to destroy the federal government.
- jfengel 2y agoHe's been very clear that that is his goal. His voters were keenly aware of it. If they're surprised at all, it's that they're getting what they asked for faster and more effectively than they believed.
