Return to office: CEOs are ignoring the math
- deleted 2y ago[deleted]
- fullshark 2y agoWe need one fully remote company to dominate its industry and become the talk of the Harvard Business Review or nothing will ever change.
- azemetre 2y agoThere are plenty of fully remote companies that dominate their niches (Crowdstrike, Coinbase). Leadership doesn’t care. The mistake is thinking that some leadership will change their minds when presented with evidence. That just causes most people to double down rather than admit being wrong. You see this all the time in regards with things like politics and culture. Why would business be any different?
- fullshark 2y agoFair enough, but I was imagining that they need to take over an industry on the backs of fully remote talent, and become the toast of HBR. The business world may not care about evidence, but they are obsessed with following trends first and foremost.
- fuzzfactor 2y ago>CEOs are ignoring the math Lots of CEOs wouldn't be where they are unless they were ignorant of the math that great CEOs wield intuitively, whether they had any business school background or not.
