Yet our politicians continue to favor road building and expansion for cars, and neglect bike lanes. There is some cultural calcification regarding cars too of course, colleagues who take 45 minutes by car compared to my 20 minutes by bike to get to work, at a comparable distance, still seem to find it more enjoyable for some reason I still haven’t understood.
