I mean, not through the free market, but the deep state pretty much had complete control over the narrative of 90% of the media, from Covid to border policy. And the stronger the control, the less trust people have in these media, and at the end of the day the election results are no longer decided by who is clearly supported by 90% of the news media, but by who came to Joe Rogan's podcast.
