What's the motive for Taiwan to cut Baltic Sea fibre cables?

- blackeyeblitzar 2y agoThere is none for Taiwan as far as I can tell. They’ve provided aid to Ukraine so it wouldn’t make sense. But there is clear incentive for China to be involved in cable damage, given it is already supporting Russia economically and militarily. China is the biggest adversary for many other nations (the US, Canada, the EU, India, etc) so for them, there is benefit in making this conflict expensive for its adversaries.
