WPE could have forked if they wanted to as I mentioned in my comment, that'd be fine.
But they didn't. And then they sued to try and tell WordPress what they could and couldn't do with their own project.

- nostromo 2y agoIt's literally in their lawsuit - they are upset about changes made to WordPress and to WordPress.com - two projects they have no rights to.
