They're against taxing people to do weird research.
By their nature, taxes are compulsory, and the bar for compelled action is high.
- randomcatuser 2y agowell, the funding has to come from somewhere... who is compelled to invest in the future? (e.g education, public works, etc)
- paulddraper 2y agoWhoever wants to. But I doubt many do.
