Have never been using facebook. Gave instagram a short stint few years ago to remove it eventually because of too high ads/friends ratio in the feed. No problem in organizing social life. FWIW, whatsapp provides excellent capabilities (well, for 2025 where only old timers remember phpBB and can compare to it) for local community discussions and meetups, interest groups, parent groups, whatever group discussions and coordination.
