I see dead people – No, seriously, I do
- ColinWright 2y agoWell, that's 15 minutes of my life I won't get back again. Seriously, I have no problem reading fiction, reading non-fiction, playing games, watching shows with little to no intellectual content, but usually there's some payoff. I sometimes think of them as a mental "palate-cleanser". You may like this ... I certainly wouldn't judge or diss anyone who does, but for me ... Complete waste of time. And before you comment on the irony of me spending more time writing this post ... this is the "palate cleanser" to let me move on.
- JPLeRouzic 2y agoWhat made you decide to dedicate 15 minutes of your time to this activity? Sometimes I think there are unusual things that are not usually talked about, but that doesn't mean people don't feel them. For example, you might smell the scent of your mother who died decades ago. Or you dream that you are about to be born, you are on the other side of existence and you are hesitating, but many people are cheering you on. Or you dream that you are listening to dead people, and one of them says: "Stop, he can hear us."
- ColinWright 2y agoIt's a story submitted to "Hacker News" ... I thought it might be interesting. So I started reading. Then kept reading, thinking it might eventually be interesting, or useful, or engaging, or something. In the end ... for me ... it was a complete and utter waste of time.
