Well, if the CA forum had a really clear automatic sanction, I would expect the lawyer to raise that concern.
- bluGill 2y agoOther comments have since suggested this was an emergency order where the CA didn't have their lawyer present. The courts said "don't do anything for a week while the real paperwork happens". I don't know the cases in question well enough to figure out if that is correct, but it seems reasonable. But also a week is not very long.
