- aqueueaqueue 2y agoYeah you remind me to change my dns on all devices :) definitely cat and mouse
- KaiserPro 2y agometa is really hard to block effectivly. I once tried to block the app from running on my home network, as an experiment. Blocking the DNS didn't work, and even when I blackholed the various ASNs to make the route not work, I still managed to get the app to work.
- aqueueaqueue 2y agoI mean block trackers added on other sites bundles that need to download js to do anything.
- KaiserPro 2y agoYeah you can stop the JS from loading if you have an well maintained plugin that specialises in it (or no-script that nukes all JS from orbit) but trying to stop Instgram/facebook apps connecting is a whole another level of difficulty.
