The interesting thing about this project is that it shouldn’t even be possible if the chip behaved as an abstract logical circuit since then it would simply implement a finite automation. You must abuse the underlying physics to make the logic gates behave like something else.
- rini17 2y agoAbstract logical circuits are still leaky abstractions, for example hazards are possible. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazard_(logic) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazard_(logic) Yes you can go even more abstract and ignore time flow completely and have pure boolean logic, but then it can't be practically implemented at all.
