If they rip out their chargers doesn't it mean they have to charge their EV's somewhere else? That somewhere else could well be a Tesla charger, which gives Elon a cut for every kWh they buy. I'm sure he's pretty confident the federal government will be predominately buying EV's in a few years years regardless of what else happens.
