This is more in line with their goals:
"We want the bureaucrats to be traumatically affected. When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work"

- atmavatar 2y agoDepartment of Grift and Embezzlement The fact that most of the IGs were fired before DOGE was given access to anything and the fact that there are no auditors involved is a strong signal that we'll find out years from now that rather than save taxpayers any money while shutting things down, DOGE almost certainly funneled a tremendous amount of money into certain individuals' pockets.
