- rbanffy 2y agoDoing your own thing in macOS is a cardinal sin. I know it might be unavoidable depending on the tooling you are using, but, still... Don't.
- replete 2y agoNot really, you can tweak a lot with the right CLI commands, and the desktop experience is not constantly being messed with or your settings reverted, as is the case with Windows and its forced updates.
- rbanffy 2y agoWe can all agree Windows is the canonical example of what not to do with a GUI since Windows 1.
- grvbck 2y agoUnless you are Kai Krause and very determined to make some users love your GUI while the rest scream in agony.
- replete 2y agoI am referring to how some window buttons not rendering macOS style in some linux applications.
