I think it might have come off as a bad cultural fit. Talking comp is appropriate always, but if you sound too interested in the cash and not the vision startups might not like it.
- codr7 2y agoExpecting someone who isn't even working there to be super enthusiastic about your vision just turns it into a competition of faking it; I guess if that's what you're hiring for.
