- sylware 2y agoWith that type of news, who does not think "Musk's suicide squad". :P

- TruffleLabs 2y agoSounds like the story has confirmation thru several sources.
- sixothree 2y agoThis is such a lazy argument. Whenever I see someone complaining that a news outlet isn’t reporting some specific issue, it’s usually just laziness on the part of the person making that claim.
- cromulent 2y agoThis is a logical fallacy, tu quoque. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism
- Volundr 2y agoCan you clarify what "crazy stuff" you'd like them to report on? The actual crazy claims (100 mil on condoms, 150 year old people collecting social security, millions on transgender plays) all fall apart under scrutiny. There is plenty that I'm certainly open to calling waste (e.x. the foreign art program that said much less expensive play was a part of), but I've yet to see anything actually crazy nor the fraud that we keep hearing about. And most of this was already public via the various government data portals, e.x. https://www.usaspending.gov/ https://www.usaspending.gov/ Meanwhile the Whitehouse refuses to say who is actually in charge of DOGE. We have Trump saying it's Musk in public, and court filings saying it isn't and an Administrator the white house refuses to name.

I know that one is older but it was a quick 1 minute google search. I’m sure you can search for others if you’re really interested in checking.
- just_steve_h 2y agoEven weirder… Coristine’s grandfather was a turncoat KGB spy. https://www.jacobsilverman.com/p/prominent-doge-staffer-is-grandson https://www.jacobsilverman.com/p/prominent-doge-staffer-is-g...
- Cornbilly 2y agoThere are no consequences or standards as long as you or your family is enough wealthy enough and connected to the right people.
- JoshTko 2y agoIt speaks volumes on how careful DOGE's processes are.
