I have been really interested in all the radiative cooling stories that have shown up over the past few years. I wish some good products would show up on the market.
- PaulHoule 2y agoSometimes I wonder about the idea people have that blue is a "cool" color, because in terms of "color temperature" it's actually hot. In a sunny day with a perfectly blue sky, when the air isn't particularly hot or humid (say in the desert) and you're in the shade, the blue sky can feel really cool because you are losing heat to it. - tocs3 2y agoThank you. I wonder what it is, aluminum? I wonder how the emissive part work at night? A few degrees at night might help with atmospheric water harvesting hat i might find useful. I am a little skeptical of the sky blue being cooler. It just seems it would not be as reflective bu I will be looking into it.
