- monero-xmr 2y agoHundreds of thousands of people work in Amazon warehouses. It isn’t analogous to a sweatshop or a plantation. They pay well for low skilled labor with good benefits. Here is an Econtalk episode about what working for Wal Mart is actually like, from someone who worked there, and why people prefer working there than the worshipped “mom and pops” https://www.econtalk.org/platt-on-working-at-wal-mart/ https://www.econtalk.org/platt-on-working-at-wal-mart/
