I asked a friend recently. They were completely sold on the subscription service thinking it was the best thing ever. I was questioning that, but I have to admit the printer that (I assume) was included with the subscription was better than I would have bought with endless consumables. It did seem to make sense for them who runs a business in their home-office. It's an in-between volume between personal ink-jet and business laser printing. Personally, I bought the cheapest Brother laser on sale from Staples and it does all I need.
