- cheema33 2y ago> You really can't use sarcasm around that topic. I have often wondered why that is. Why is the sarcasm bit turned off for most conservatives? Similarly their humor bit is quite off as well. There aren't many successful conservative comedians either.
- xp84 2y agoI’ve seen it’s no different on either side with how willing they are to believe something horrendous about the other side (which interferes with interpreting a statement as sarcasm). For instance, you believe “most conservatives” don’t understand sarcasm, which is silly. Most people do, they just really want to believe the other “team” is evil, stupid, and/or subhuman. Edit: added the words after “evil.”
