Conspiring: ending the flow of unaccountable billions of dollars towards a useless war. You guys on payroll? Advocating for civil war and such?
- dismalaf 2y agoEnding flow of unaccountable money: probably a good thing for US budgets. I'm not American FYI but as an outside observer it does appear as though Trump is alienating all of the US' traditional allies and destroying the "Pax Americana". Handing Taiwan to China, embracing a murderous rogue state (Russia) that's also too poor to actually be beneficial while alienating the second largest economy in the world (the EU) all seem to be bad for maintaining America's place in the world. I mean, it's obviously not treason since as I pointed out, no one ever actually officially declared Russia the enemy, but do you really think it's a good idea?
- rightbyte 2y agoIt might be unrealistic to ask for Trump to have diplomatic prowess.
- anon2549 2y agoIf the funding is the issue, then we could just end that. That could be done without selling out Ukraine and rewarding Russia for invading neighboring nations. > it's obviously not treason I suspect he meant morally, not legally. The present administration appears to be doing everything possible to destroy the US from within. Call that what you will.
- rightbyte 2y agoWell the US elite has to change the narrative slower. It is bad for the mental health of people to be so sudden. As Biden cooperated with Trump on the issue as noted in the article it might be a good time to announce that now.
