Personally, I would have, since it refers to the Referer header it seems like it should follow the same spelling.
It would be like CSS having a "color" attribute, but then doing something like "default-colour".
- dullcrisp 2y agoIt’s actually more like CSS having a “colr” attribute and then doing something like “default-color”.
- varun_ch 2y agoExactly, a Referer on the web is its own thing now. Referrer should be considered a typo if you’re referring to the Referer header.

- InsideOutSanta 2y agoIf they just spelled it Refera, they could save another byte.
