- wiejriljw 2y agoI work for a faang subsidiary. We pay well below average salary and equity. We finally got one nice perk, a very good 401k match. A few months later it was announced that the 401k match would be scaled back "to come in line with what our parent company offers". I thought about asking "will be getting salaries or equity in line with what our parent company offers?" but that would have been useless. Management doesn't care. I'm job hunting.
