I don’t understand—if the frame is in the middle why can’t the MagSafe go on the outside?
- Reason077 2y agoIt can. You can get a case that simply adds the MagSafe(/Qi2) alignment magnets and then you've got a MagSafe device (albeit limited to 7.5W charging)
- enragedcacti 2y agoIt could, but as it is all the components are directly against the back glass. The magnets have thickness so the phone would have to be thicker or the battery would have to be thinner for everything to fit.
