DOGE is not comprised of individuals having accounting experience, certainly not at the level needed to investigate federal spending. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing and so it's not surprising they've resorted to simply making stuff up. I wouldn't hire these people to audit a mom-and-pop pizza shop, let alone the federal government.
