I don't think worrying will help. Assuming the human race can cooperate on the possible impact, we should do our best to nudge it into a different orbit, and prepare to evacuate people in the path if the chances of impact keep rising. Given the number of countries potentially affected and the state of the world I doubt anything will happen, other than worrying and maybe giving SpaceX more money to make some new debris fields in the ocean.
