There's Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, and the Vatican. All are basically client states of their larger neighbour.
- the_af 2y agoBut some of those don't even have a standing army, and -- in my opinion -- are not equivalents to ancient Sparta... Like you say, these are client states of a larger and more powerful neighbor.
