Success: Black Magic DaVinci Resolve 19 on Linux with Old AMD GPU and Wayland
- opengears 2y agoOP here. I have Black Magic Davinci Resolve 19 running on Linux with Wayland (confirmed with Gnome, Hyprland and Niri). The complication was that I am running on an old AMD GPU (fiji) the AMD R9 Fury X. I have used the open source AMD driver (amdgpu), radeonsi, and OpenCL via Mesa (Rusticl). I succeeded running Davinci on Wayland on latest 6.13 Kernel. I posted all my findings to the NixOS wiki and the archwiki.
