I am only criticizing python because I am actively using it. The node ecosystem and the rust one seem to have their own issues. I have zero interest in either of them so I haven't looked into them in detail. However, I have to deal with node on occasion because a lot of JS/CSS tooling is written using it. It has a HUGE transitive dependency problem.
