The Nuclear Race
- icegreentea2 2y agoHeh, the fusion race is interesting, but I think with recent events, there's a reasonable chance that the non-proliferation regime is going to completely snap within the next few years. A whole lot of countries will either openly join the nuclear weapons club, or enter a Israeli like state of nuclear ambiguity, or openly "leak" rumors of nuclear latency.
- jauntywundrkind 2y agoThe new nuclear race is alas a bunch of countries scrambling to develop nuclear weapons now that the USA has loudly declared fuck you Europe, and is trying to cozy up to & start making business deals with Russia. These countries now need to arm themselves with nuclear weapons, now that America has promptly fled the world stage.
