  I was replying to a comment saying that, replacing mechanical actuation by electrical actuation, in a car, is always a downgrade of the user experience. The discussion was not about failure.

    My electric drivers window is dead and my driving experience is definitely worse. Electrical stuff is so hard to DIY and work on as well and parts are ridiculously expensive.
