- 0_____0 2y agoI learned how to program from a series of adventure books in which the protagonist (a reader insert) pulled out his computer and solved the problem with a few dozen lines of BASIC! Angry natives in the jungle? No problem. Those books were from the 80s I'm pretty sure.
