I think a History of Violence (2005) and Eastern Promises (2007) are really great, even if it's a different Cronenberg from "The Fly".
- wk_end 2y agoA History of Violence is phenomenal. Cronenberg might be one of those filmmakers who actually benefitted from the structure of Hollywood - even as far as “gross” Cronenberg is concerned, The Fly is probably his apex (even if Videodrome is cooler).
