While it's possible that CRQC (cryptographically relevant quantum computers) are vaporware that will never be made practical, now that were have some PQC algorithms might as well hybridize them. The only downside of the PQC algos is that they don't nicely fit inside packets. So just design newer protocols that don't rely on discrete packets, most of them do that already.
