It is extremely hard for Democrats to blame failure to deliver on Republican obstructionists, it just doesn't ring true when the cities conservatives are left of the median democrat. It is an outrage for most people on the social progressives too. Why can't we fix this and do better? Los Angeles passed a 1.2 billion dollar homeless housing Bond, and got a bunch of Home Depot sheds for 800k each. Some critiques are valid, indefensible, and should trigger introspection.
