I've used umami for my projects with low volume and it has worked great. Set it up on it's own instance connected to a postgresdb and it's been great for the past year. Also there is a nice python library for calling the functions directly: https://github.com/mikeckennedy/umami-python https://github.com/mikeckennedy/umami-python I do wish it would track bot traffic though. My site of 10m pages is heavily crawled by bots and I wish I could keep track of them a bit more.
