I run a ghcr proxy server to avoid having to rent an ipv4 address just to pull the container images I build with github actions:
docker pull ghcr.proxy.orca.toys/kpcyrd/apt-swarm:edge
My services are often run behind cloudflare, who does ipv4 for me and proxies to my ipv6-only vps.
Should you use this? Well docker's security model is pretty much only https, so it's like using a proxy server from some random hackernews comment for your `curl|sh` needs, without end-to-end encryption.
I wish github would just step up their game, at least for ghcr.io.
