- bediger4000 2y agoThis doesn't mention any weirdness, like how and why did Monero get created, or Bitcoin's use by Silk Road and other anonymous marketplaces, coverage of which should include rug pulls like Evolution market disappearance. I'm sure there are other rug pulls and legal system take downs to mention. It also doesn't mention the pervasive use of cryptocurrency in grey areas, like sanction evasion, and paying ransomware vendors. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is also widely used in tax evasion and money laundering, and anonymous illegal drug transactions. Then there's monstrous uses, like international crime cartels settling up, and financing North Korea's nuclear program. In short, only half an overview, and an overly optimistic overview at that.
