Can you just please read the article? The bbc writes to about a sixth grade standard.
They literally do not have contact information after they deleted the .gov email addresses
Edit: and they cant "name their price" because unlike the private sector there is legally mandated pay scale. Which is just another reason why firing g-men to save money makes no sense
- 1970-01-01 2y agoDid you not read my entire comment? The gov will certainly know where they live and breathe. A non-creative approach is easier. Paychecks and bonus checks are separately accounted.
- bobsmooth 2y agoHow will they know if they fired the guy who's responsible for knowing?
- DangitBobby 2y agoIt is unbelievable that they would be unable to figure out where these people live. I literally do not believe it.
- steve_adams_86 2y agoCan we all agree it’s absolutely absurd that it’s a chore at all to find out, let alone to have this need in the first place? This is insane.
- DangitBobby 2y agoI agree with that.
- insane_dreamer 2y agoTheir contact information will be in the payroll, assuming they know the full names of those they fired. But yeah, there are pay scales. Anyone who knows they can get a job for more elsewhere (the most talented among them) is likely to say "fuck this shit".
