It’s not active misdirection but it has less than zero value to speculate. If had a dollar as a paramedic for every time I’d heard “it’s good, I’m not suicidal any more” or “he would never have done that to us so it must be foul play” that then turned out to be, well, suicide, I’d have a lot of dollars. Sadly.
