What is your experience with history? Have you read much since high school? What is your experience in shaping your government? How many times a year do you communicate with your representatives? I ask because a person not used to expending energy doing those things could quickly and easily get "tired" and believe the present situation to be "hysterics, " while those who are politcally aware - as opposed to those newly being told all of their xenophobic urges are wonderful - are rightfully alarmed.
