Show HN: Kite, the Modern Solana TypeScript Framework
Hi HN, I've been working on this for a little while. Solana web3.js v2 is great - using webcrypto and bigints not only makes the massively library smaller but also reduces supply chain risk of old crypto libraries. That said, it takes a lot of trial and error to do most basic things.
Kite has one-shot functions for almost everything in Solana - connecting to RPCs, getting SOL balances, transferring SOL, getting token balances, making new tokens with metadata, transferring tokens, sending transactions with the right CU limits, and more.
Since Kite uses the same types as the excellent web3.js v2, you can easily get rid of it if you want to move to something lower level.
