- echelon_musk 2y agoI quickly recognised the station with its small roundabout in front in the aerial photograph. Remarkable to see how the area used to look with fields all around compared to now.
- paulmooreparks 2y agoOnce, on a visit to London, I learned the hard way that the Edgware station is not the same as the Edgware Road station.
- asplake 2y agoIn a way, 100 years isn’t such a long time. I grew up not far away in West Harrow, whose growth was enabled by the Metropolitan annd Piccadilly lines. I had elderly friends who could remember it as fields. I just turned 60; WWII ended only 20 years before I was born.
