I suspect we're entering a "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself, especially if you dislike what a battering ram might do to your front door" period in US domestic policy.
- lazide 2y agoOh pretty soon saying nothing isn’t going to be an option either.
- VyseofArcadia 2y agoIf we get to the point that the government mandates I open a Twitter account and start verbally felating ICE, I think I will emigrate.

- anal_reactor 2y agoNot a surprise, if anyone has been following the development of American culture, it's just that the list of acceptable things to say is slowly stopping to include things that people on this website like to say, that's the only real change.
- htek 2y agoThe difference is that there are culturally inappropriate things to say--that is, things that people who aren't completely toxic bigots generally agree you shouldn't yell in public, and then there are things ON THE LIST the right wing government fascists are going to kick your door down for uttering to two people online.
