My fear is that AI will further hurt neurodivergent people's ability to compete in tech. It seems to me that AI deemphasizes some of the advantages that some neurodivergent people have; e.g. hyperfocus, nonlinear thinking, etc. At the same time it introduces extra context switching which many neurodivergent people struggle with. I've already seen tech become much more hostile to neurodivergent people over the years. I'm afraid that this will just make things worse.
