I would argue that social has always dictated behavior. Whether social networks can properly replicate real world social interactions is yet to be determined.
- pdog 14y agoEh? Consumer behavior for the past 50+ years has been dictated by mass media, especially televison. This isn't our individual social networks; it's a larger, single dialogue we all tap into.
- aprendo 14y agoHas it? For decades communication researchers had trouble finding big media effects. That said, the same seems to be true for social networks.
